March 2013 Recap

Just a quick recap of our month:

It was my birthday and my family came over to our house so we could celebrate.  I set the dining room table with a runner that was wrapping paper from the $1 aisle at Target.  The green and white napkins were also purchased at Target on clearance.

 I requested lasagna and my sister obliged.  Mmm...see those squares of provolone?

 And an awesome salad.  She is our salad queen!

 Every year I request my mom's famous Italian Cream Cake.  This year she made it into cupcakes.

 Here's me on my birthday!  You know you're getting old when you have to hold things up to the light just to read them.  LOL

I got to do an impromptu photo shoot for this little guy, my nephew.

We celebrated Easter at my parent's house.  We went to the sunrise service at church but didn't see much sun when the storm rolled in.  Here, Hunter is getting ready to find easter eggs.

I don't remember what rolled under the bed but I caught Hunter trying to fish something out.

And out of order...but this was the delicious ham my parents had for Easter lunch.  Yum!

Easter 2012 Part 2

These are the pictures I took from our Easter weekend in Houston.

Easter morning we woke up and Miss Corey got the boys to help her make Resurrection rolls.  (My white balance is off in the first 2 pics and I didn't feel like editing it).

Brandon is ready.

Hunter must be hungry.  And his favorite toy over the weekend became one of the cat toys.  Great.

You dip the marshmallow in the butter.

Then you roll it in the crescent roll.

Then you dip it in more butter and cinnamon sugar and bake.  I never got to taste any but I heard they were good.

After we were all dressed we went out to the back porch to play

Miss Corey had the Lifeway Easter eggs so she was trying to read to Brandon.

No idea what Hunter was upset about.

Brandon was paying attention but Hunter was off to play.

Easter 2012

For Easter we headed to Houston to see Korey's mom, brother, and cousin Brandon.  These pics are from Miss Corey and are out of order.

We set out the boys' baskets of goodies on Sunday morning on the back porch.  We caught Brandon peeking!

We also hid the eggs for them while they were inside.  We were going to dye easter eggs but at the last minute we opted out.  Miss Corey made Resurrection rolls for the boys.

Brandon was on the move with his eggs.

We got the boys to sit still for us so we could capture their grins.

Not sure why Hunter wasn't into it!

And I'm not sure either why he was outside without a shirt.  No idea what he's doing here.

We went to Easter service on Saturday night.  After the service was over we let the boys play on the playground which happened to be on the church's property.

The boys are inside a little wooden playhouse.  My boy is just chillin'.
