Laundry Lesson #548

When married to an artist who is known to carry a pen in his pants pocket, be sure to check pants pocket for any pens when doing the laundry. Leaving a pen in the pants pocket will result in polka-dotted clothes and a dryer spotted with ink.

Korey and I spent an hour on this unplanned moment. He used nail polish remover (thanks to Google) to get the ink off the dryer while I worked on stain-treating his clothes. All of this happened right before we were going to put up the Christmas decorations Sunday night. Fortunately, we both thought it was kind of funny. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten the ink out of his khaki pants. And we just bought them a month ago!
